Nazlı’s character secretly adulterated Funda’s drinks to give him migraines and memory lapses. (Netflix)
The season finale reveals that Nazlı did not arrive at Funda’s home by chance. Nazli had a romantic relationship of several months with ilker (Ozan Dolunay), Funda’s husband, before he met his current wife. İlker had hidden the true extent of that link from Funda.
The most disturbing trigger that the last episode exposes is another: for weeks, Nazlı had secretly introduced an unidentified substance into Funda’s drinkswhich caused migraines, dizziness, behavioral problems and memory lapses.
The flashback sequence included in the final episode connects each of these episodes of deterioration with the moments in which the nanny adulterated the protagonist’s teas.
The discovery is made by Kemal (Cemal Hunal), a friend and colleague of Funda, who became suspicious when she recovered with unusual speed after being admitted to a mental health clinic.
The treating doctor also noted that the improvement had been faster than expected.

The outcome revealed that Nazlı had a previous relationship with Funda’s husband before marriage. (Netflix)
Confronting Nazlı, Kemal obtains his confession. “I should be the one to have İlker’s baby.”the babysitter tells him, adding that Funda “stole her life.” Nazlı also reveals that she became pregnant with İlker in the past and that she lost that child.
Kemal’s investigation reveals that Nazlı’s past is a false construction.
The woman had introduced herself as a swimming instructor with coexistence problems, but in reality she was a nurse. She was fired from her job after administering a near-lethal dose of sedative to a sick child.
This revelation gains greater weight when contrasted with the symptoms that Funda experienced while living with the nanny, although the series does not specify what substance Nazlı used or in what quantities.
The last episode offers no resolution. The season concludes with an image that summarizes the conflict: Nazlı is inside the house, with İlker and little Mavi, while Funda watches from outside.. Funda’s expression, as described What’s on Netflix?“It is not from defeat, but from pure rage.”
Kemal, in possession of Nazlı’s secrets, makes no decision about revealing them nor does he communicate them to Funda. Your choice could be conditioned by your unresolved feelings towards her and whether you will decide to use that information to your advantage.

The first season concluded with an open ending where the protagonist ignores the true identity of the nanny. (Netflix)
At the close of the season, Funda is unaware of the poisoning and Nazlı’s true identity. The nanny, for her part, makes it clear that she believes she has the right to continue being part of İlker and Mavi’s lives.
Faced with the open ending, Social networks in Türkiye were filled with requests for a second season. Netflix usually waits between 28 and 60 days to evaluate viewing rates before confirming renewals, so an official decision would not be expected before the end of October or November 2026.
