The American president, donald trumpsaid this Friday that the new winner of the Nobel Peace Prizethe south african judge Navanethem “Navi” Pillay is an unknown, called the award committee “corrupt” and returned to claim it for himself.

“Today they gave him the Nobel Peace Prize to a person I had never heard of,” the president said at a rally in Syracuse (New York), although he later described Pillay as a “liberal person who works at the United Nations” and congratulated her.

However, after the award to the former judge and co-creator of the International Criminal Court (CPI), stated that the prize “has been forever discredited by a handful of radical ideologues who are anti-democratic and, in reality, enemies of civilization”, and considered it “corrupt”.

His comments come after the controversial decision of EU to sanction the CPI after the award of pillaywho was part of the United Nations independent commission on Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, and which concluded that Israel had committed genocide in Loop.

“The United States of America, represented by me as its president, should have received the Nobel Peace Prize, but they did not,” ranted Trump, who took credit for having resolved several conflicts in the world, as on other occasions.

Trump precisely congratulated himself for supposedly resolving the conflict between Israel and Hamas, ensuring that “it is now a very different Hamas”, and also for, in his opinion, “preventing Iran from having a nuclear weapon and blowing up the entire Middle East.”

Likewise, he recalled that the Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado gave him his Nobel Peace Prize last year and took the opportunity to highlight the United States’ intervention in Venezuela with the message that “to the victor goes the spoils.”

“I took out of Venezuela the evil dictator of the world, Nicolás Maduro, and I am in the process of turning Venezuela into a very rich democracy. We are taking it for ourselves, we deserve it: the winner goes to the spoils,” he said, referring to oil.
